The world of fashion has always been a field that I wanted to explore. Growing up in a small town in Long Island, I never saw any of my peers walking around with Gucci, Chanel or Prada. But once the season changes into summer around the Hamptons, expensive, luxury brand handbags come out to play.

For me, My love for handbags and luxury fashion started to blossom when our island was hit with COVID-19 which sent us into lockdown. The pandemic was sincerely a shock and a major wakeup call to start thinking about healthy lifestyle choices.

Especially with mental health, I struggled a lot between the first couple months between worrying about family members and completing my coursework for my University. I started looking for different influencers to watch to ease my mind when I felt overly stimulated and even got a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy named Windsor to keep me grounded.

After searching and searching I found Alyssa Lenore's Youtube Channel and was exponentially inspired by her to start a Fashion Blog to track my progress and growth. I also signed up for a subscription to Vogue so I can analyze their do's and don's of the season.

I started out my luxury bag journey by purchasing the Louis Vuitton Felicie Pochette in the original Monogram for $1,130 off their website on a whim. I stalked the bag for months on different Pinterest boards and Youtube videos pondering if it was worth the money.

Once my bag arrived, I instantly fell in love with the quality and overall vibe it gave off. The gold hardware was so chic and basically went with any outfit I could come up with in my cluttered wardrobe.

That bag became my go-to!

I am so excited to begin my journey and continue to update my luxury collection and of course, tell you guys about it. From what I gathered so far, it seems like the top three luxury brands of the season are Chanel, Prada and Louis Vuitton! (Which of course wasn't a surprise). And the name of the game this season according to Vogue Magazine is BOLD color blocking!

I also began making specific wishlists to keep myself organized on where and how I spend my money. My soon to be next purchase will be a cute little Dior ring.

All I can say is that this blog will be completely outside my comfort zone, but I am super excited to see where this takes us!
