This business offers personalized nail kits, Nail accessories, mystery nail sets, solid nail sets, and Luna's go-to favorites! They have just over 2k followers on Instagram with a super supporitive fan base! Their instagram reels and pics is what caught my attention and I instantly fell in love with the carefully crafted designs!

My favorite things about writing blog posts about businesses is getting the chance to talk to the business owner! I got to talk to Sami about how and why she wanted to start a press-on nail business and I'll let her speak for herself!

"My name is Sami! I’m 24 years old and from Florida! Ever since I was a kid I’ve been into art, nail art specifically. From the age of 10 to 22 I always had my nails done. Around January 2023 my nails became damaged from years of acrylic so I stopped getting my nails done and started to look for an alternative that allowed me to still have fun nails. I started designing nails for myself and wearing them to my 9 to 5 job and I was always getting compliments about them.

Once I realized people had an interest in my work, I decided to do more research and created the name Luna from a childhood dog my family and I had. Then I just took the dive into selling press ons online. Fast forward to almost a year later, I’ve hand painted custom press ons for so many amazing people and have had the opportunity to build connections all over! My nails have been worn by Micah Lussier from Love is Blind, Reagan Baylee to NYFW , The Taylor Swift movie premiere and more.

I am extremely grateful for my own community of people I’ve built that allow me to express my creativity through their nails. I now work for myself full time. For anyone who is starting a small business or has one, trust the process and don’t compare your work to someone else’s. Be you and you will find your people!"

One part about getting my nails done at the salon is that I will fall COMPLETELY in love with a design, but, like most aesthetic add-ons, you have to get them filled or redone completely. Most times you won't get the "perfect" nail shape that you want. What's great about these designs, you can wear them again, again and again!
